Essential Skills for Thriving in the Workplace Series

This project is a 4-course employee development series designed to help individual contributors strengthen the everyday skills that support collaboration, communication, accountability, and problem solving in the workplace. The curriculum focuses on practical, transferable skills employees can apply across roles, including emotional intelligence, intentional communication, personal accountability, trust-building, and critical thinking for creative problem solving.

I co-created this series with a colleague using a data-informed design approach. We developed and distributed a member survey to better understand which employee development topics would be most valuable to local organizations, analyzed the results, and used the top-scoring topics as the foundation for the curriculum. I served as the lead instructional designer for two of the four courses and contributed to the design of the remaining two. I have also delivered each course privately for member organizations, adapting the content to support team-specific needs and workplace challenges.

The samples below showcase representative assets from the series while excluding proprietary instructional materials and course content.
